How the operator app works
The App Lives in Your Inbox
GetFabQuotes is not a portal you log into. The operator app is the email loop between your shop and our processing system. You forward the RFQ; we return a quote-ready packet you review, edit, and approve before anything goes back to your customer.
What you do
- Forward the RFQ. Send the raw email thread, sketch attachments, and any vendor reply chain to [email protected].
- Receive the packet. A structured packet arrives with line items, material breakdown, missing-info flags, a clarification draft, and a suggested quote framework.
- Review and approve. Edit anything that needs your judgment, then send the cleaned packet (or your finalized quote) back to your customer.
What stays under your control
Pricing decisions, margin assumptions, vendor selection, and customer-facing communication are all yours. We separate the structuring work from the judgment work. Nothing reaches your customer without your explicit forward.
What the packet contains
Each packet includes a normalized line-item table, separated deliverables, material and substrate breakdown, suggested margin and sourcing notes, a missing-information flag list, and a drafted clarification reply you can send to the customer to close information gaps.
Send us a sample RFQ to see what a packet looks like for your shop.
